Just a quick post to share pictures of some pieces from the new YSL Autumn 2013 makeup collection. There are two eyeshadow palettes; the neutral/taupe one is called City Drive Classy and the brighter, bolder one is called City Drive Arty. Delectable packaging aside, I am completely in love with the classy palette. Such beautiful, wearable shades and so soft and easy to blend. It’s a real investment piece 🙂

There are a couple of new YSL Glossy Stain shades too, which I am thrilled about (read about my love for Glossy Stains here). The shade offerings veer from neutral to peach to an electric pink, which is the one I have worn most (no.104 ‘Fuchsia Tomboy’) – as expected, they last a freakishly long length of time which suits me perfectly as I rarely have time to reapply during the day.
Overall, gorgeously pretty pieces – but as it’s YSL, I really didn’t expect anything else!

In other news, have any of you read the 40 Days of Dating blog? If you haven’t, do it now! It’s amazing, interesting, frustrating and incredibly sad at the same time. And a great example of how sometimes we over complicate our lives to the detriment of our own happiness. I cried at the end! If you have a read, let me know what you think!
