It’s hot here at the moment. Too hot if you ask me. Yesterday was literally like walking around in a sauna, it was unbelievable. At one point in the afternoon it was 42 degrees and 90% humidity – 90%! That’s just crazy. How is a girl supposed to be fabulous and flawless in weather like that?
I knew it was going to be rough and so I went for a minimalistic look, with products that usually don’t let me down in terms of staying power. Rimmel Stay Matte was dug out of the drawer along with some gel liner from L’Oreal and my trusty Naked Palette 2. I primed my whole face for a change (not just the T zone) using MAC Prep & Prime Skin Smoother, this stuff is the business and literally holds my foundation like glue all day. A bit of blush in the form of Modern Mandarin by MAC, Lash Architect 4D Mascara from L’Oreal, which is amazing – but that’s a whole other post, and a quick application of Nuxe lip balm. I’d be lying if I said I felt fabulous and fresh at the end of the day, because I didn’t – more like a hot mess. A least my makeup stayed in place though!
