Man Repeller on friendships. This post really resonated with me as it focuses on the topic of maintaining good friendships in adulthood, something I think we all struggle with. Wasn’t it so much easier when we were younger?
This midi dress from ASOS is my favourite thing. In the last four days, I have worn it three times. That’s a lot of wear obviously, but my (very valid) reasons are as follows; it’s so comfortable/flattering/looks good with converse/covers carb babies.
Hashtag Authentic. Listening to Podcasts is a new addiction of mine. I listen to them when walking the dogs, when in the gym, and when I’m working on content for clients. Hashtag Authentic by Sara Tasker is one of my faves – she talks everything Instagram, blogging and general creative content.
This eye-witness account. This is an incredible piece of journalism. Eimear McBride is famous for transporting readers with her words, but this piece she wrote for the Irish Times is truly something else and moved me beyond measure.
This layered sleeve blouse. I bought this Topshop piece last week and kind of love it. I’m planning to wear it this week with a distressed pair of jeans, converse and a really bright lip. You could easily size down and it’s quite a loose fit, but I feel like that can only be a good thing here as the temperature is about to reach obscene levels… ๐
Broadchurch. The sheer amount of people who recommended this show to me, and I was like ‘Yeah OK, can everyone calm down‘. And then one evening earlier this month I decided to watch one episode and BAM! Addicted. I’m now getting ready to watch Season Three. Thought-provoking, brilliant, and a little bit sad.
The Nail Pavilion. If you live in Dubai, there’s a fab new salon in JLT that you must visit. It’s small but perfectly formed, with a full-service hair bar choc-full of Oribe (I die), and an incredible selection of nail brands for every nail need.
