Would you believe I’ve never bought a Viva Glam lipstick before. I know that sounds pretty ridiculous considering the amount of makeup I go through but for some reason the previous shades just never really appealed. I bought this one for a number of reasons. Firstly, I loved the promo shot for this, it totally sucked me in. It wasn’t necessarily Nicki herself, more the gigantic lipstick being held aloft by the lovely Ricky Martin and secondly, the shade itself looked quite interesting.
Upon closer investigation in the blogosphere, it seemed that yes this shade would appeal to me. A bright, very slightly rosy pink with a satin finish. I prefer to apply it more as a stain as a full on application looks more like er, Nicki Minaj. It’s a bit too bright when packed on, this might suit some but not me I’m afraid.
