I’ve always wanted to own a lipstick called Patrick.
That’s basically what started this whole thing off. I heard Tom Ford was bringing out mini versions of his lipstick and they would all have boys names. And then I saw Patrick listed in the lineup and that was it. Pretty sad, eh? π
Anyways, as it will be months before they make an appearance in the Middle East I decided to track them down online. Selfridges had a flash event on the website for 24 hours a few weeks back (and they will be online permanently from December 25th) so I took the opportunity to purchase!
I decided I wanted the campaign colour, Jack – a bright purpley fuchsia, and then I also picked up Xavier and Francesco, and Laura got me Patrick – all pictured above and on my instagram.
As expected, they are incredibly pigmented and the shade selection is pretty incredible – 50 in total. Jack is the most beautiful colour – such an unusual, eye-catching shade and if you do decide to buy one (or three) than I highly recommend it. Having said that however, I think they are very much overpriced for what they are. GBP27 for a teeny tiny lipstick? Not very justifiable, even it they are Tom Ford… π
