We’ll take a break from usual scheduling right now to drool and make excitable noises of delight at my current handbag lust list. This is not a list that has been compiled over night people, oh no! These are handbags that have stalked my every move since they arrived on the scene – some of them for months! We won’t talk too much about price (depressing) but I will link to where you can get them online.

1. Sophie Hulme Oversized Neon Orange Envelope Clutch
If I’m honest, I want all of Sophie Hulmes handbags – not just this one. I love the simple yet striking boxy designs and the beautiful block colours. This one I’m particularly obsessed with. It’s just so… orange, and the size is perfection itself. Online here
2. 3.1 Philip Lim Pashli in Coral
I blame Amelia from DucklingToSwan for this, and Laura from BuyNowBlogLater to a lesser extent. I met up with Amelia in Dubai a few weeks ago and she was all up in my face (not really) with her white Pashli. It was so big and beautiful and perfectly formed! I tried to put it out of my mind as best I could but then Laura started flaunting her navy blue version all over the shop and that was it; the beginning of handbag lust! I’ve decided coral is the shade for me. It’s so summery and perfect and beautiful, and did I mention it’s beautiful?! Online here
3. Michael Kors Miranda Tote
I die for this bag. DIE! I may fancy this more than the Pashli if that’s possible. I just love the firm boxy shape, the size and the aggressive yellow colour. I think I’d carry this and be all like “that’s right, I’m carrying a HUGE YELLOW HANDBAG – deal with it”. It’s just so large and gorgeous! I need it. Online here
4. Kate Spade Saturday Half Circle Cross Body Bag
First of all, if you haven’t heard of Kate Spade’s new affordable line called Saturday, go check it out here. It’s completely gorgeous, and summery and kitsch and all the colours of the rainbow. This colour is perfect for summer, the perfect shape and did I mention it’s perfect for summer?! It’s also a pretty bargaineous $160. Not too bad, eh? Online here
5. Marc by Marc Jacobs Alley Katz Neon PVC Shoulder Bag
I’d be lying it I said the name of this does nothing for me. There’s so many appealing words in there; neon, PVC and er, Alley Katz. What a cool name for a bag! The shape kind of reminds me of a makeup bag I used to own and I like that as I always wanted to use it as a clutch. Online here
6. Marc Jacobs Antonia Rubberized Leather Tote
I was in Saks Fifth Avenue a few weeks back stroking this. That might sound weird but it’s made of the softest rubbery leather. I picked it up, I put it down. I put it on my arm, then I stood in front of the mirror with it and then I stroked it some more. It was a really enjoyable five minutes. It would fit practically everything I own and it comes in bright yellow too. Sold! Online here
