Spring Nails - Nudes & Pinks

Spring has sprung on my talons and this is my little collection of favourites. Everything from white to pale nudes, sheer pinks and salmon toned pinks. Personally, I think there is nothing fresher than beautifully manicured nude or pink nails. There’s just something so pretty and stylish about them – whenever I see someone with nails like that I always end up copying them later that day or week, because that’s how I roll people.

My favourites left to right are as follows:

Zoya Snow White – A delicious er, snow white that looks so summery and not really like tipex at all. I haven’t taken any pictures of it yet but you can see a great pic here on this tumblr account.

Bourjois Cotton Sur Ton – Creamy beige isn’t the kind of shade that I’d usually go for and this one needs about three coats to come up how it looks in the bottle. Annoying yes, but once it’s on it stays for about 5-6 days without chipping and it’s stunning – result!

Bobbi Brown Roza – This is a shade that initially I didn’t think I would get on with. It looks quite brown in the bottle and I thought it might end up looking like a non flattering version of nude on my nails. You know that kind of sludgy, dirty nude shade? Happily, it’s a gorgeous colour, really flattering on and super shiny plus it lasts ages. You can see a post and swatch of it here.

Chanel Emprise – Fast becoming one of my all time favourite shades, Emprise is both gorgeous to look at and gorgeous on. After two coats, it’s exactly the right shade of salmon-y pink.

Nailstation Body Talk – Easily one of the softest, girliest pinks around this is one of those shades that immediately makes your nails looks amazing, especially if they are short and square. I reach for this every time I’m not sure what shade to go for as it always looks amazing on.

What do you think of these shades? Would you wear them?
