I ran out of Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer a few weeks ago and instead of going out to get another one I decided to try a new product from The Balm instead. The Balm is a brand that intrigues me very much. If you haven’t heard of them before they are a quirky cosmetics brand from San Francisco known for quick fix multi-use products and cute vintage packaging.

I tried to peruse one of their makeup stands when I was in Ireland last year but it was far too busy and overcrowded, a good thing I know, but nonetheless I didn’t get a look in. Thankfully, it’s available online so I was able to get hold of some of the products.

This concealer is called Time Balm. It’s billed as “anti-wrinkle concealer that cover’s dark circles and protects the delicate eye area from the elements”. It come’s in a super retro little pot and my my, this is an industrial strength concealer if I ever met one. I cannot believe how long it stays on, not one touch up required during the day! The formula is nice but a little dry, so requires a little warming up before applying. I usually blend some on my hand and then apply with a brush, or apply directly under the eye with my ring finger and pat in to blend it nicely. It doesn’t crease and the coverage is excellent, it even covers my blue veins! I’m really really impressed. Best of all it’s not too expensive, 7.5g of product usually costs 15.50GBP from Feel Unique however, it’s on sale now for 12.40GBP including free worldwide delivery.

Next on my list is their Tinted Moisturizer, if anyone has tried it out let me know!
