I whiled away a few hours at O Concept in Jumeirah last week.
If you live in Dubai and you haven’t heard of O Concept before, it’s a spacious, very cool boutique cum coffee shop a few doors up from Saladicious. Although I’ve stuck my head in the door previously, it was only very briefly for an event about two years ago, so I decided to rock up last week, laptop in hand ready to do some work and serious coffee drinking.
The boutique part is lovely – a huge open space with exposed floors and cool wooden ceiling beams. The huge mirrors dotted around the store make it feel even more vast and they offer a lovely mish-mash selection of clothing, accessories, shoes and cosmetics.
The coffee shop is the coolest part in my opinion – O Cafe is just inside the door on the left and boasts amazing Italian pastries and cookies, fresh coffee and a small selection of snacks and other dishes.
It has a glitter ball wall for gods sake! Aside from this, it’s mega comfy (I had to stop myself from lying down on the huge couches) and the coffee is sensational. And oh lord, so are the Italian cookies 🙂
