Well! Look at what Make Up For Ever have in store for us; the stunning Smoky Couleur Collection. This arrives in the Middle East in October, although it’s out in the US now and will soon hit Europe as far as I know.
The collection provides you with everything you need to create the perfect smoky eye. The eyeshadow palette consists of 8 jewel toned shades, and as it’s Make Up For Ever you can pretty much guarantee the pigmentation will be superb. What I’m most excited about though is the new shades of Smoky Lash Mascara. Those of you that read my blog will know Smoky Lash is one of my holy grail mascara’s, so I had to control immense feelings of glee when I discovered they were bringing it out in not one but four (faints) colours; deep brown, plum, green and dark blue.
In addition, the equally amazing MUFE Kohl Pencil’s are also available in four new shades; intense pearly green, pearly deep blue, matte mocha brown and pearly black purple
I saw some of the marketing materials this morning and although supremely excited by the collection, I was disappointed to see some heavy handed work with photoshop. I find this rather paradoxical considering they proudly published the first unretouched makeup campaign earlier this year! See for yourself below…
