Lipstick Loving

Taking inspiration from the post on Get Lippie’s blog and thinking about one of my favourite topics (lipstick), I decided to have a root in my handbag this week and see how many lip products I actually carry around! More than I thought let me tell you… and such an eclectic mix!

From Left in the bottom pic; MAC Phlox, MAC Rebel, No. 7 Grace, MAC Cockney, NYX Lipgloss in Tea Rose, Chanel Lipgloss no.407 and good ol’ Nivea Lip Balm. How many lip products can a girl possibly need? A lot obviously.

On top of this, and the many other bullets in my collection, I have been looking for the perfect pink lippy this week. I spent a very pleasant an hour or so browsing in Boots at the Bourjois stand and settled on the very juicy 57 Fuschia Class. A luscious deep creamy pink. Fabulous!

Later on in the day I don’t know what happened but I found myself at the Dior stand staring at the Dior Addict Lipstick range, some of which I have already so I really don’t need any more.

As I said, it was all so sudden, I don’t know how I got there. ..the shop assistant was so very persuasive (not really) and I ended up falling truly madly deeply in love with no.669. A sheer shimmery pink. I also love the packaging for both this range and the relaunched range which is out in the UK now but not here, no surprise there.

I think that will put an end to my lipstick shopping for a little while, apart from the Poppy King for No. 7 lipsticks that I ordered online a few days ago….
