Could the title of this post be any more random? Probably not!
Basically, I’ve been shopping (again) and reading some fun things so I thought I would share the love by writing a lonnnng blathering post.
First up are my new Steve Madden flats, which you can see in the picture above. I literally bought these this morning and I am already blogging about them because I am so excited. Laura and I have been on the hunt for pointy leopard print flats for the longest time. These ones are made from super soft leather and are outrageously comfortable, although they do run a size large so I bought a UK 5 instead of a UK 6. They are available in Dubai from Steve Madden (I got mine in the Marina Mall branch) or online from Lord & Taylor or from Steve Madden direct.
Jenna Lyons has been talking about beauty again and oh my god, I just love her! She spoke to the New York Times this time about the makeup products she uses and why and how getting her eyebrows filled in changed her life – a woman after my own heart! I am a huge Jenna fan girl and regularly stalk her style pictures online (sorry Jenna).
Next up, Kate Spade. I can’t get enough at the moment – I want all the accessories! An innocent browse on Nordstrom resulted in the purchase of two bangles that have super sweet sayings inscribed on the inside, a plain rose gold one that says “stop and smell the roses” and a plain gold one that says “heart of gold” . They are so lovely, nice and weighty without being too heavy.
My brows. Lots of comments on Instagram and You Tube about this! I will be putting up a full post about them in 2-3 weeks once I’ve had a top-up but basically, they are amazing – best thing I ever did. The semi-permanent tattoo has faded over 60% since getting them done three weeks ago and I am already having to fill them in a tiny bit here and there, but nothing major. Chloe at Sisters Beauty Lounge in Dubai did them and I can’t recommend her enough (follow her on Instagram here and check out her before/after pic of me here).
And of course, ASOS. I was browsing the other day and this amazing French Connection sweater caught my eye, which I promptly purchased! I was actually looking for an evening gown to wear to a black tie event but hey, I’m easily distracted. Unfortunately, the hunt for said gown isn’t going very well so if you have any suggestions of where to look let me know!
