Lancome Show by Alber Elvaz is on counters now in Dubai. I’ve waited patiently for it to arrive here, as many of my makeup loving friends raved about it when it arrived back in the west! Alber Elvaz is Artistic Director for Lanvin, and has been since 2001, and he’s become as famous for his beautiful work with the luxury fashion brand as he has for his incredible drawings and design sketches.
Unsurprisingly, it’s his drawings that immediately draw your eye to this collection. Quirky hearts, stars, polka dots and beautiful eyes adorn the nine different mascara tubes, three eyeshadow palettes, three ombre eyeshadow palettes, false eyelash box and gorgeous pocket mirror.
The Hypnose Doll Eyes Palette (above) is just gorgeous, and my favourite piece. A beautiful mix of pinky taupe and charcoal shades, it’s perfect for both everyday use and for ramping things up a bit in the evening.
