If you follow my video’s on You Tube or have read some of my skincare posts in the past you’ll know that I have suffered on and off from hyperpigmentation issues over the last couple of years. I truly believe it began when I moved from the UK to Singapore and the stress of moving/total weather change had an adverse effect on my skin. It took a while for me to really notice it but once I did, I majorly stepped up the use of SPF in all my products, from general skincare to foundation.
It subsided somewhat but then when I fell pregnant about a year ago it became really noticeable and spread from the tip of my nose and chin to the outer parts of my face and cheeks. Once baby arrived it calmed down slightly, but not that much. I’m reluctant to use ‘whitening’ products as many of them are called (especially on this side of the pond) so I have decided to try the new *Even Brighter Range from Eucerin for a couple of weeks and see what happens.
The Even Brighter range is made up of Even Brighter Day Cream, Even Brighter Night Cream and Even Brighter Spot Corrector. When used over a period of 4 weeks they will apparently diminish the appearance of pigmentation on the skin and increase the skins natural radiance without creating any further patchiness. If you’re not sure what hyperpigmenation is and you’d like to know more about the Eucerin Even Brighter Range click here
So there we have it. I’ll be reporting back in a few weeks with my thoughts on the range, how I’m finding it and changes in my skin, if any. Stay tuned!
