Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Foundation | Simone Scribes

Let me count the ways I love Charlotte Tilbury’s Beautiful Skin Foundation (and the other products I use for a glowy, natural everyday makeup look).

The Foundation

A skincare foundation hybrid, Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Foundation is packed with supercharged active ingredients, including hyaluronic acid, coconut extract, and rose complex, and hydrates, smooths, plumps and brightens the skin, inside and out.

Available in 30 shades and housed in a gorgeous (and recyclable) tube, Beautiful Skin Foundation provides glowy, medium, your-skin-but-better coverage. It blends beautifully with fingers or a brush (I used Hollywood Complexion Brush as I love how it buffs it into the skin), and it’s also really buildable (I wear shade 4N).

Prepping The Skin

Before applying Beautiful Skin Foundation, I prepped my skin with Charlotte’s Magic Serum Crystal Elixir Serum. It contains Polyglutamic Acid, Glycerin and Niacinamide, and a host of other great ingredients that instantly brighten and boost the skin. After this, I applied Brightening Youth Glow, a colour-correcting primer that balances skin tone and adds luminosity to the skin.

Everything Else

Once my foundation was in place, I moved on to some of my all-time favourite Charlotte Tilbury products. Magic Away Concealer in the shade 3 Fair for under my eyes and around my nose (I also love Magic Vanish Corrector in Fair for covering blue-toned veins), Contour Wand in Light/Medium to sculpt and bronze, and Beauty Light Wand in Pinkgasm for a peachy pink glow on the cheeks.

On my eyes, I used Eyes to Mesmerise in Rose Gold (I think everyone knows how obsessed I am with this!) and Full Fat Lashes Mascara. When it comes to Eyes to Mesmerise shades, the three I use again and again (and again!) are Rose Gold, Star Gold, and Amber Gold. And then I finished up the look with one of the new Lucky Lips shades; Rose Hope.

Are you thinking about trying Beautiful Skin Foundation? Let me know! 🙂
