Before I get into this post I’d like to hold my hands up and say yes, I am completely devoid of willpower when it comes to beauty products. I don’t know what it is, but as soon as someone (followed by several people, followed by practically the whole beauty blogosphere) starts raving about particular product, I’m sold down the river and buy it immediately. Now, this doesn’t happen with every product, but when it’s a brand I regularly hear good things about and the raving in question comes from reliable sources (hello Vivianna Does Makeup) then I’m totally powerless. Must be something to do with my genetic makeup, ha!
Anyways, I digress. Behold, Caudalie Beauty Elixir! A fresh, minty smelling facial mist that immediately revives the skin when it’s tired/dull/sleepy/is sporting flat looking makeup. It promises to tighten pores and smooth features but all I know is it does an excellent job of reviving my skin (and me) when I’m feeling a bit rubbish. It doesn’t leave any residue or stickiness on the skin, and it seems to really help moisturiser and make up apply more seamlessly. I’ve become a little obsessed with it in the last two weeks and am already at the halfway point of my 30ml bottle. Happily, it’s not as expensive as I thought it would be at 9.90GBP for 30ml from FeelUnique.com (plus free worldwide shipping, hurrah!). I’m contemplating splurging on the 100ml bottle which is 28.80GBP as I’ve really gone through the 30ml bottle super fast, but we’ll see how things go (read: I’ve already ordered it). I do love a good facial mist and am also particularly partical to Avene Thermal Water spray but this one really takes the biscuit, it feels so reviving and the smell is fabulous, nothing like a blast of mintyness to make you feel refreshed!
