Hello Spring Summer Collection from Bourjois! My my, aren’t you a beauty!
It’s been a long time since I have read a bad review about Bourjois products, and it’s going to be even longer when I finish writing this post.
Like most women who frequent Boots, I love Bourjois. The little round pots are so cute, their foundations are very good and the new chocolate brick bronzer is just yummy altogether.
So when a few items from the SS Ballerine Collection landed in my post box, I knew it was going to be good.
Look how dainty the little eyeshadows are, and the colours are just so pretty; soft shimmery pink and soft bluish grey.
I forgot to take a swatch picture for these but suffice to say the swatch is exactly the same as the colour you see in the pot. Also, as they are the new and improved little round pots they are a lot more pigmented and really buildable.
Same goes with the lipsticks; super pigmented lippies which feel beautiful on, so smooth and creamy and what lovely colours! A light rosy pink (Rose Innocence) and a deeper red rose (Rose Passionne). I love the soft pink packaging too.
The eye pencils from the collection come in three shades; Ultra Black, Sand Rose and New Wave Blue. These in particular have blown me away, and I’m usually not one for eye pencils.
The swatch above was literally one little swipe, they are so pigmented its unbelievable and again, I love the colours! Conveniently, they also come with a smudgy brush.
Last but not least, my new favourite highlighter; Illuminating Touch Rose Essentiel.
I have used this every day since I got it. As I said above, the little round pots are now a lot more pigmented so just touching your brush into the pot gets you a lot of super shimmery product. It comes with cute little instructions of where to highlight on the face too. I’ve been using it across the high point of my cheek bones.
Has anyone else bought something from this collection?
I love it, although you may not have gathered that from the gush-fest that is this post… ha!
