So I’m back in Ireland and sort of loving it. I say sort of because I got a cold the second I stepped off the plane and Charlie is jetlagged so we’re keeping crazy hours at the moment.
Other than that, so much love. I can’t believe it’s been over two years since we have been home! I don’t even mind the relatively shit weather and the cold (I’m actually OK with wearing three layers around the house) and the fact that my hair has never looked worse. It’s all good. Who wants to live in Dubai anyways? Not me! 🙂
Now, on to the good stuff. I paid a visit to my local Boots on Shop Street in Galway. I nearly shed a tear walking through the door. So many products! So many things I can’t get my hands on in Dubai! And the gods of cosmetics must have known I was coming home because it was 3 for 2 on literally everything.
I bought five concealers. I’m just going to put that out there. Kick Ass by Soap and Glory has been on my hitlist for quite some time so that came home with me as did Vichy Dermablend Stick (I bought this by accident – meant to pick up the foundation but was just so overwhelmed/excited), and three Collection 2000 concealers. One for me, one for Laura and one for er, me.
I also got a brow pencil and mascara by Soap and Glory, Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection foundation and Hydraluron moisture mask sheet things because Sinead recommended them and Sinead knows her stuff. I tried and failed to find Eysilix eye cream (also recommended by Sinead), V05 Give me Texture and L’Oreal TXT. Very disappointing. As a result, I will be hunting for them again in a few days.
