Over the last few months I spent much time and effort avoiding the extreme sun. As a result my skin is now several shades paler then it used to be, and to be honest I kind of like it. I’ve always wanted to be pale and interesting, and hopefully it will steer me away from looking like and old prune later in life!
The downside to the paleness is that I’ve found it quite difficult to find the right shade for my current skintone. The formula’s I’ve tried have either been too yellow or worse again, too grey. Luckily, Bobbi Brown saved the day and I found the perfect match in one of her face products. Natural Finish Long Lasting Foundation is an oil-free liquid formula, medium coverage but lightweight and perfect for my skin type. There are 16 shades available ranging from Alabaster to Dark Almond. Although the foundation claims to last all day, I do find I need to set it a little in the afternoon to keep it in place, but that’s mostly down to my skin and not the formula. Absolutely my new favourite. Anyone else using this?
