I’m feeling quite summery at the moment and veering towards the bronzed look.
I started off by deciding that I wanted to use my new Clarins Colours of Brazil Eyeshadow Palette and when I discovered that the blue eyehadow in it was actually cream and not powder, much confusion/excitement arose. A deep blue creamy eyeshadow? What does one do with that exactly? Well, I decided to smear it underneath my lower lash line. Why not, eh?
The I decided that a purple/blue eyeliner would look good with that so I whipped out my Urban Decay 24/7 Liner in Empire and put it everywhere. The other colours in the palette were smushed in varying degrees across my eyelids and because of the buttery texture and pleasing pigmentation I decided that I actually really like this palette.
Then, out came No. 7 Stay Perfect Foundation because I haven’t used it in awhile and it’s nice and light and blends very easily and I followed this up with Make Up For Ever Full Coverage Concealer (which is absolutely amazeballs by the way) under the eyes and on my face.
The most exciting part of this face look is the new Clarins bronzer. I mean, oh my god. This stuff is really, really gorgeous. It gives the most natural bronzed look on the skin and lasts a fair whack of time. I always love the summer bronzers they release as the formula (and design/packaging) is always so good.
I finished off with a really natural/pretty lip as I didn’t want to detract from the bronze/blue action and reached for Tom Ford lippy in Summer Fling.
And that’s how today’s face came about! ๐
