That is pretty much the only title I could dream up for this blog post, because that’s what this place is – view goals.
Imagine a rooftop bar with uninterrupted views of the Burj Khalifa… which you take in while sipping an ice cold glass of Whispering Angel… Yes! #AllTheGoals
As far as I know Treehouse in the Taj Hotel in Downtown Dubai has been open a couple of months, and although I made a mental note to visit I never quite managed it, until last night! And I’m so glad I did!
Honestly speaking, I think it might be my new favourite bar.
Here’s why: The view is incredible, they serve Whispering Angel which is my all-time favourite wine (thanks to Laura for introducing me to it), the nibbly bar food is so delicious (sticky honey beef, sweet potato fries, mini sliders, burrata salad – OMG), the service is excellent and it’s so chilled.
I went with two friends and we were all so impressed with the place.
Treehouse just seem to get it. That might sound like quite a light compliment, but so many places in Dubai don’t get it!
The drinks list is extensive but doesn’t try too hard and has some really interesting wines and cocktails, the food – like I said, is right up my street and it was hard to peel ourselves off the huge couches at the end of the night as they were so comfortable.
I knew we’d be sitting outside all night so I wore my new Maison Scotch dress.
It’s made from a super light, wispy material so I didn’t get too hot and it goes nicely with my trusty Reiss heels (hands-down the most comfortable heels I own), and I gave my bright pink Sophie Hulme clutch an outing too.
If you live in Dubai or if you’re planning a trip here in the next couple of months, I highly recommend you spend an evening at Treehouse. Did I mention the view?!
