I love eyebrows, I think they frame and balance every face and can make or break a look. Whether your brows are seriously sparse naturally (or from getting tweezer happy) or whether you’ve been blessed with Brooke Shields-esque uber brows, everyone needs a little bit of filling in and defining at some point. Professionally, I use MAC brow pencils, powder eyeshadow and Make Up For Ever”s eyebrow corrector for tweaking and correcting brows, and on myself I usually tend to stick to my all time favourite eyebrow pencil from Dior.
Recently however, due to hair colour changes, the sun and what not, my brows have become a little bit lighter and pencil just won’t stay on throughout the day anymore. So, I started using Make Up For Ever eyebrow corrector again and came across this fabulous complete brow kit from them – I’m totes in love, as all the cool people would say. It comes in this dinky little mesh pouch above which includes the aqua brow gel and two brushes; one for applying the product through the hairs and the other for brushing through and tidying up, everything an eyebrow fanatic could possibly need! For those of you who haven’t tried this out before, the eyebrow gel has has seriously epic-scale staying power and I love the natural brushed through effect it gives. You only need the tiniest amount as it’s supremely pigmented and it goes a very long way, so it’s one of the products that will be knocking around for ages. It doesn’t dry immediately either, so you can play around with it for a minute or so and then once it sets, well that’s it! No shower, swimming pool or similar is going to get rid of this bad boy!
