Say hello to my new favourite primer! I’ve been using this for the last 10 days or so and absolutely love it. It’s one of two products that make up the MAC Prime Future Collection, the other being a Moisture Infusion Liquid Primer. This beauty however is aptly called the Skin Smoother. It’s not the silicone type formulation that one would expect from a packed compact primer, but more of a smooth, almost gel-like cream.
It’s super soft to the touch, translucent and can be applied all over the face for a flawless skin prep before foundation. Personally, I’ve been applying it over my T zone as that’s where my skin needs a little help holding the shine back, although MAC do say as well as priming the skin it also smooths out the texture and so on and I have to say that it does just that. What I love the most about this though is the formula. It’s so lovely to use, not too moist and oily but not to dry or hard. The fact that it’s in a compact really does it for me too for some reason.
