I recently attended the launch of Sunsilk Arabia’s Damage Repair range. It took place in Capital D studio’s in Dubai and I had the chance to meet and have a chat with the lovely Thomas Taw, celebrity hairstylist extraordinaire and creator of this particular Sunsilk line. We had a natter about why he decided to get involved with Sunsilk and he gave me some insider info on the range, which will follow in an upcoming post.
While I was there I had the chance to have a mini-makeover, and have my pictures taken in a Sunsilk photoshoot, which was hilarious and embarrassing all at the same time! They had a great team on hand who did my hair and makeup, and I was then styled up, accessories and all and directed into the main studio. There was a lovely photographer on hand who coaxed many of us there into positions we wouldn’t normally be busting out day to day, ha! Here’s some pictures from the day;
I was actually thrilled to get my hair and makeup professionally done, even though my face doesn’t reflect that in the picture! It was so nice to be on the receiving end for once as I’m usually the one doing makeup! Photoshoot and posing fun aside, I was delighted to get my hands on the whole 4 step damage repair range and will be trying it out with gusto once I’ve finished up with my beloved Dove Nutri-Oils products!
